Ubiquiti VoIP Phones - Clarification in Use818

Ubiquiti VoIP Phones.

They are "standalone" VoIP phone solution - they need to work with popular PBX Systems such as 3CX.

The UniFi Controller can provide extension and firmware updates, or the phone can be standalone to work with a VoIP SIP Trunk provider.

But this is NOT a full telephony solution as the website would have you lead you to believe.

We have many clients calling us about this / so thus the reason for this post.

Best case / it is an Android based VoIP Phone for use with VoIP PBX Solutions, in a nut shell.

Here are the answers to your questions:

1) Is this solution just a phone solution that we already see configuration options to 3CX and others.
Ans) Yes, the VoIP phones can be configured with 3CX SIP configuration

2) Is this solution as Stand Alone solution using the UniFi SDN Controller, where no IP-PBX is needed and if so / how does a SIP Trunk interface with the controller we did not see an option to configure SIP Trunks.
Ans) Yes, the UVP phones can be configured in the Standalone mode along with the VoIP controller:

3) Does the controller have IP-PBX features such as Auto Attendants, Hunting caller Que etc...
Ans) No, the VoIP controller does not have features such as Auto attendants, Hunting caller queue.

Greeting,

We have a client that is looking at the UniFi VoIP Phone Solution.

1) Is this solution just a phone solution that we already see configuration options to 3CX and others.

2) Is this solution as Stand Alone solution using the UniFi SDN Controller, where no IP-PBX is needed and if so / how does a SIP Trunk interface with the controller we did not see an option to configure SIP Trunks.

Trust that we spent a good amount of time trying to find this information, and appears to be a bit unclear both on our web site as well as the UBNT.com web site.

It appears to me that, this is a IP Phone only solution to some degree to work with current market available IP-PBX Solutions such as 3CX and others.

Please advise as soon as you can / we have a client awaiting a response.
