WHMCS / Domain Sync

As of version 5.1, we no longer use registrar-specific sync cron jobs, instead providing a unified /crons/domainsync.php cron job. The previous registrar-specific ones were designed to go through every active domain and sync with the registrar. For installations with hundreds or thousands of domains, this inevitably led to issues with hitting PHP limits and resulting in at least some domains not getting synced. The new unified one only attempts to sync 50 during each run, and caches the domains so it can do the next 50 during the next run. The new domainsync.php cron can therefore be configured as often as you like, however to avoid overloading your domain registrar we advise to run no more frequently than every 4 hours.

Please note that the domainsync.php cron job only checks domains in Active and Pending Transfer status. It will not update domains that have another status, such as Cancelled or Expired.
