Can I send large file attachments with ZixMail or ZixMail for Outlook?

The standalone version of ZixMail utilizes ZixCorp’s mail system by default to deliver email. Using these systems, you can attach up to 10 files with a total of 10 MB. Note that the larger the size of the file, the longer it may take to upload and download.

If you have access to a mail system, you can configure ZixMail to send messages using your local mail system. This is configured within the ZixMail client. Select 'Options' > 'SMTP Settings..'. Select 'Specify an SMTP server' and enter the IP address or hostname of your mail system in the 'Server Name' field.

If you are using Outlook, the attachment size is determined by your local mail systems.
