If you are running Quickbook Online and want to convert the data to a Quickbooks Desktop version when running Windows 7 with IE 9.0 you may encounter a issue when installing the ActiveX needed to convert your data.

Symptoms is the page will not display the ActiveX allow or deny install warning even if you have allowed in your security settings.

Solution is to add Intuit.com web site to your IE Compatibility web site list.

In IE 9.0 , Click Tools then Compatibility View Settings, add the current web site displayed.

The allow activeX install banner will be at the bottom of the screen VS the top of the screen as in IE 8.0
